Who we are
About Us: Your Local Window Tinting Shop in Davenport
Dark Matter Tint helps Davenport drivers enjoy cooler, more comfortable cabins with quality automotive window film. As a family-owned and operated shop, we serve drivers throughout Polk and Lake counties, including Haines City, Lakeland, Winter Haven, and Clermont. Our services include auto window tinting, ceramic tint, carbon tint, and Tesla window tint.
Window tinting is our focus, and that shows in how we approach every installation. Your vehicle stays at our Davenport shop while we clean the glass, cut the film to fit each window, apply it carefully, and inspect the finished tint. Our goal is simple: clean edges, clear answers, and a tint that fits your vehicle and driving needs.
Our people
Meet the Team Behind Every Clean Tint Job
Our team handles every tint installation in-house, from preparing the glass to shaping and applying the film. We clean each window carefully, heat-shrink curved back glass when needed, and use a squeegee to press out water and air for a smooth finish.
We work with sedans, SUVs, trucks, vans, and Teslas, giving each vehicle the same careful attention throughout the installation. Keeping the work in-house also means your vehicle stays at our Davenport shop while the tint is being installed.
From the first conversation to the final inspection, our team keeps communication clear. We explain shade options, coverage, and film benefits so you know what to expect before the work begins.
What we do
Car Window Tinting Services We Provide in Davenport
Auto Window Tinting
Cut heat, glare, and UV on sedans, SUVs, trucks, and vans. Choose the front two windows, full sides and back glass, or a windshield visor strip, with shades that stay within Florida tint law.
Ceramic Window Tinting
Ceramic film turns away infrared heat while keeping the glass clear. It is a strong pick for Davenport cars that sit in open sun, and it should not interfere with GPS, phone signals, or SunPass.
Carbon Window Tinting
Carbon film gives your glass a deep, matte black look and holds its color over time. It sits a step above dyed film for heat control, suits darker rear glass on SUVs and trucks, and is non-metallic.
Tesla Window Tinting
We tint the Model 3, Model Y, Model S, and Model X, with film fitted around frameless door glass and the front camera housing. Call us about glass roof and Cybertruck film before you book.
What we stand for
Our Mission
Our mission is to give Davenport drivers a better ride through careful, honest window tinting. We treat every vehicle with the care we would give our own, from the first call to the final check, because that is how a family business earns repeat customers.
Our promise to every customer:
- Install film with clean edges and a snug fit on every window
- Explain Florida tint limits before you choose a shade
- Give honest advice on film type and coverage
- Handle every vehicle with focus and respect
- Help you cut heat, glare, and UV so every drive feels easier
We do not just tint windows. We help you enjoy the road in comfort, with a shop you can trust close to home. That is the Dark Matter Tint difference.

Based in Polk and Lake Counties
Our shop sits in Davenport, and our customers come from towns across Polk County and Lake County. We know the heat, the afternoon storms, and the long drives that Central Florida drivers deal with.
Premium Films Matched to Florida Heat and Law
We talk through ceramic and carbon options, then help you pick a shade that fits your vehicle and the state’s limits. You get a clear plan before any film goes on.
Coverage Built Around Your Vehicle
Choose the front two side windows, full sides and back glass, or a windshield visor strip. Tesla owners can ask about fitting around frameless windows and camera housings.
